Bank connections run through Plaid's hosted flow: your credentials go to your bank, never to us.

One connection can carry many accounts. A modern business bank hands over every sub-account behind one sign-in — our own brings seventeen — and each one is visible and nameable on its own. Per-account enable switches and per-account views are in build now; today every enabled account feeds one set of books.

Sync runs daily on a sealed cursor: every pull picks up exactly where the last one left off, and every raw line is archived twice before it touches your books — the feed is evidence, and evidence gets kept. When a sync succeeds you can see when: the Accounts page shows plain freshness ("last successful sync: 2 hours ago"), the sub-accounts the feed has delivered lines for, and every run with its receipt — how many lines arrived, what the provider restated or withdrew, and whether the books' own conservation check held.

Disconnecting is safe by design: every line already in your books stays, future syncs stop, and the bank credentials are purged. Leaving is a button, not a hostage negotiation.
