braatzledger began as the bookkeeping engine for our own companies — a flower-delivery business serving three cities, a crafts brand beside it — built by people who wanted the close to be a fact of the infrastructure, not a monthly chore.
The method is the product. Our own books run through braatzledger every day, side by side with a production bookkeeping stack, and a deterministic comparator diffs the two, line by line, over the same window. A feature is done when the diff says nothing for a week — not when a demo goes well. The instruments that measure it (the diff, the sync freshness gates, the drill suites that must go red before a change ships) run on the production system, continuously, after launch as before it.
The same honesty runs through these pages: anything not yet live is marked "in build now", in line, next to the claim it qualifies. When the marks disappear, the features landed — that is the changelog.
